"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Prayer requests...

This is a big week for us with Harper... Tomorrow is her first clinic appointment through the NICU here in Wilmington.  It will involve lots of tests and evaluations, and we've been told to prepare for a few hours with her there.  Then I have to have her at Duke 8:00 Wednesday morning to meet with her neurosurgeon regarding her increased head circumference and c/t scans.  It may very well just be precautionary, but my mama heart is feeling heavy today in anticipation of all of this.  It always causes alarm to me when the doctors feel so strongly about seeing her so quickly, and but praying that they are just being extra careful with her.

So, for all of our prayer warriors out there, here's my long list of requests for today...
1. Please pray that I will be strong and not jump to conclusions, that I will get some rest without my husband/best friend/biggest helper here, and that I will just trust God and feel His peace this week.

2. Pray for Kirby as he is still in California and won't be able to be a part of these big appointments this week

3. Pray that Harper's head circumference has not increased any more since last week

4. Pray that her developmental evaluations will be right on target tomorrow

5. Pray for safe travel to and from Duke Wednesday
